Escapism
Escapism can lead in many directions. It can be a brief retreat or a lifelong shut-out from reality. Some return feeling renewed, while others drift deeper, lost in their escape. Guilt may turn escapism uncomfortable, yet discomfort itself can inspire a return. For some, escapism becomes addictive, a habit hard to break. What does escape mean to you?
